It's brand new in the box – never even opened. The bronze finish is pretty standard, not shiny, more of a matte dark brown look. This one is the frame with the keeper (the piece that catches on the sash). It’s meant for double-hung wooden windows but the listing says it also works on aluminum and vinyl. I didn’t test that though, so you might wanna double check your window type. It comes with the screws and everything you need to install. Installation is pretty straightforward – just screw it into the frame. Only thing I noticed is the box got a little squished in storage, but the lock itself is fine. No damage.
